After high school, I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology with Industrial Supervision Technology, Prairie View A&M University with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in the concentration area of Instructional Technology, Lamar University with a Master of Education in Educational Administration. Lastly, I received certifications in Technology Applications EC-12, Instructional Leadership Development and Instructional Design & Technology.
I have spent over a decade serving elementary and middle school students as a technology teacher and administrator sharing my wealth of knowledge in modern technologies. It is in the classroom where I began developing multimedia projects for students. I have been able to combine my technology background in a meaningful way. After noticing a need for children's programming that caters to the at-risk students, I teach daily. I created the anti-bullying program “POINTLESS”. Students learn how to use character education traits as a bullying prevention strategy. My life mantra is “Education learned not mimicked is the real key to success.” I believe that the knowledge and skills I have acquired in technology both professionally and academically benefit my students by adequately grooming them for the workforce and to become productive citizens. I am also the author of the book “Love Letters: Phases of Love". Currently, I continue to educate students while shifting my talents towards the instructional design and technology industry. |
